I'm writing a large vocal work for 8 voices, based on the diary entries of Donald Crowhurst.
It will be in 5 movements..
I am what I am
and I see the nature of my offence
I will only resign this game if you will agree that
the next occasion that this game is played it will be played
according to the rules that are devised by my great god
who has revealed at last to his son
not only the exact nature of the reason for games
but has also revealed the truth of
the way of
the ending of
the next game that
It is finished
It is finished
It is the mercy
It will be in 5 movements..

Playing with Dublin Laptop Orchestra at Crash Ensemble Free State 7, April 5th, National Concert Hall, Dublin.
Just finished my piece for Klopp Trio! Here's the text:
No matter what disaster occurred
She stood in desperate music wound,
Wound, wound, and she made in her triumph
Where the bales and the baskets lay
No common intelligible sound
But sang, 'O sea-starved, hungry sea.'
From 'A Crazed Girl' - the Sligo Lad (Yeats).
Music for 'Cross My Heart' film. Rough ideas..
Playing at Days on End Festival, 24-hour drone gig (!), February 11th and 12th, Cork.
Commissions from the Colour Field Ensemble, Quince Contemporary Vocal Ensemble, Dublin Laptop Orchestra, and Oberlin friends Daniel Walden (piano), Sara Perez (voice), and Neil Ruby (percussion). Also working on the short film Three Degrees, directed by Phil Sheerin. Watch the trailer here.

Freedom of the Composer Project (Association of Irish Composers)
The Freedom of the Composer was an open score project, run by AIC and funded under the Arts Council’s Project Funding Scheme. Myself and 9 other composers were mentored and advised by Irish composers John MacLachlan, Linda Buckley, and Karen Power as we developed works from initial sketches to finished pieces.
